Identify the material for the intended system
The portfolio lists SBR rubber granules, crumb rubber, and application-specific grades for artificial turf, sports surfaces, playground flooring, and construction systems. Ask the supplier to identify the actual material being proposed, then provide the requirements set by your system designer or installer.
- State whether the material is intended for infill, a bound surface layer, or another specified system.
- Request the material type, composition description, and any color requirement in the offer.
- Ask the supplier to confirm available grades for your brief; the portfolio does not publish a fixed composition for every option.
Specify a distribution and receiving checks
The product reference asks buyers to define particle size, material type, cleanliness, and moisture condition. It does not list a universal granule size. Send the required grading and ask for a sample and measured distribution for the proposed material.
- Write the size range, sieve basis, and permitted fines or oversize fractions required by the system specification.
- Request confirmation of the proposed moisture and cleanliness checks, including any named contaminants in your specification.
- Agree how the sample will be identified and which measurements will be checked when material is received.
Request the evidence required for the completed surface
Give the supplier the project's material and testing requirements and ask what supporting documents are available. For turf, sports, or playground work, have the responsible designer confirm the approval requirements for the intended complete surface system. Assess the submitted evidence against that project brief before selecting a material.
- Ask whether reports identify the offered granule material and the system or sample that was tested.
- Have the project team define any required performance, composition, environmental, or handling documentation.
- Confirm which evidence concerns the granules and which approval checks must be completed for your installed surface.
Connect the sample review to bulk acceptance
Use a sample evaluation defined by your installer or technical team. Record material identity, grading, color, and the results needed for approval. The listed packing basis is 50 kg or jumbo bags; ask the supplier to confirm the offered format and the documentation that will identify repeat supply.
- For a bound system, have the system owner specify the trial components and evaluation conditions.
- For infill, have the system owner set the receiving and installation checks required for the intended use.
- Put the approved material, grading, required documents, quantity, destination, and packing into the RFQ.
